wind and change

We brave strong tides to get to the other side of the ocean. We talk about life as if we have a clue.

“I spent half my life looking for the reasons things must change. And half my life trying to make them stay the same…” –Jim Photoglo, Will of the Wind

I don’t really know the entire song but I can pull up these lines from my memory as easy as one, two, and three. I searched the lyrics tonight and just realized the songwriter must have been inspired by a dear one who got away. The song must have been a beautiful piece born of a broken string. Could be…

The Rolling Stone

Nomads close to the heart. My travel buddies Berna and Maiti taking it all in on top of Osmena Peak, Cebu, Philippines.

“A rolling stone gathers no moss.” This old proverb brings to life a nomad who is always on the go in search for food and pasture. He doesn’t have a home, no property, no weekend hang-out. He moves from one place to another depending on the season. Continue reading “The Rolling Stone”

running water and a gift

You can dip your hands in the water and let it cool you down for a while or wash something away from you forever.

Katibawasan Falls, Camiguin

Life is a river of people passing by. You can love, be loved but can never hold on. You can dip your hands in the water and let it cool you down for a while or wash something away from you forever. But you can never keep a drop in your hand because it’s not meant to stay.  Life is a motion. It must flow and reach the next hands waiting to be washed.

Destiny is a gift wrapped in a golden ribbon. You know that what is inside is always the best. Crafted by the Master’s hands and sealed with the Master’s love. It is hidden in the most special place that seems so difficult to see yet so easy to find. Hidden as you thought but out in the open when you finally realize that you are worthy to have it. You cannot peep and know before time is right.  It’s a surprise that you know all along.

Feel the water and claim the gift.

the egg hunt

aaa3.gifFor some reasons (unknown to human mind), we are here today where we are without knowing why we are here today where we are…am i making sense?

It’s like Easter egg hunting. We dont really know where the precious ones are or which is the precious one. Where in the game for one reason – Find the best egg there is. Sweat and compete. And then what?

Get the prize you deserve.

What prize is there that awaits every competitor?

Sometimes, the prize isnt as important as the egg itself.

Finding the best is the best prize there is… and the prize is just bonus.

Well,  I guess we are here where we are to find our own best eggs. For some reason unknown to us.
