Ivy Rose Rufin is a wordsmith-in-progress. She believes that she is a continuing work of art and so are her works. An average Jane with an enormous appetite for life. Here, she hopes to share her thoughts in an attempt to practice the craft, express herself and communicate with other souls out there who pursue the same goals.
After studying Secondary Education and trying out classroom teaching for a year, she worked in three different Business Process Outsourcing companies in a span of eight years.
She had her share of government service as Senior Support Staff who does technical writing and editing for a foreign-funded government project. In between the usual task, she writes speeches, tweaks her blog, moderates social media accounts.
She is currently teaching Business English while working her way to becoming a Web Design Rockstar and Social Media Strategist.
When not in front of her laptop squeezing creative juices out, she’s either lying on a white sand somewhere trying to devour a book while waiting for the sunset; sitting quietly at the corner of a coffee shop scribbling random thoughts; pigging out with her close friends in a newly discovered restaurant; or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.
She is also equally in love with a black dachshund named Shiro and a hot beverage called black coffee.
In few years, she’ll work as a part-time entrepreneur and full-time writer.
For now, she struggles to write daily and more often than not, it’s not her it’s the coffee talking.
Tete-a-tete. I’m up for writing gigs and blogging stints. I can help you and you can help me too. Need an advice or want to give an advice? Over a cup of macchiato is best. Yes?
For the meantime, shoot me an email here.
